Final Rule - Title 39 Part V - Testing of Natural Gas Piping Systems in School Facilities (PDF)
Recent legislation revised the deadline(s) to comply with the Commission’s Rules for the Testing of Natural Gas Piping Systems in School Facilities. Fifty percent (50%) of natural gas piping systems in school facilities must be tested by January 1, 2027. The remaining fifty percent (50%) of natural gas piping systems in school facilities must be tested by January 1, 2028. After January 1, 2028, natural gas piping systems must be tested annually before the start of the school year. Results of the testing must be reported no later than July 1st, annually.
